Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only (39 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Salary information: Scale 6, Point 20; £28,881 per annum
Start date: February 2026
About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Thrive Learning Mentor to join our dedicated team at Minet Junior School. The successful candidate will join a warm and inclusive 4-form junior school to work closely with our pupils and their families. Providing social and emotional support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their resilience and self-esteem. The role involves a mix of one-to-one, small group, and whole-class interventions, working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies.
Key Requirements:
- Preferred – A licensed Thrive Practitioner qualification or experience of trauma-informed practice and/or NVQ3 level Teaching Assistant qualification or Education, Social Care orWorking with Parents.
- Experienced with working with children and young people, including those with SEND/SEMH needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with patience and adaptability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required
