SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
(opportunity to initially work in our SRP)
Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:20pm (30 minute lunch break)
Salary information: Scale 2, £22,291 - £22,608 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: September 2026
We are seeking patient, nurturing and compassionate individual to work as a level 2 SEN teaching assistant with some of our most vulnerable pupils.
The candidates will be responsible for working with SEN pupils, some with complex needs, and with small groups of children as required. This role may include support in the mainstream classroom, SRP or our inclusion base as required.
This role will also include playground supervision during break time and lunchtime and may involve supporting pupils with intimate care needs e.g. toileting, feeding and self-help.
