Receptionist & Reprographic Officer

Global Academy is a University Technical College specialising in media and entertainment, sponsored by Global — the company behind Capital, Heart, LBC, Classic FM, Radio X and Gold — and the University of the Arts London. Based at the Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes, we were rated Outstanding by Ofsted in March 2025.

We are looking for a warm, calm and utterly reliable colleague to be the face of our front of house. You will be the first person students, staff and visitors meet each morning, and you will set the tone for the day.

The role brings together three strands. You will manage a busy, professional reception — visitor sign-in, gate access, the school office inbox, calls, post and the late sign-in process. You will take lead responsibility for first aid and medical care, maintaining Individual Health Care Plans, administering daily medication and liaising with the school nurse. And you will run our reprographics service, making sure teaching staff have the print materials they need, when they need them.

You will bring experience in reception, front-of-house or administration, excellent communication skills, strong organisation and absolute discretion with confidential information. A first-aid qualification is desirable; a willingness to train is essential. Experience of a school MIS such as Arbor, and of reprographics, would be a bonus.
