The school opened in September 2016 and are sponsored by Global, whilst working in partnership with the University of Arts, London (UAL). We offer a wide-ranging and challenging curriculum, where students can leave with meaningful qualifications; enabling them to become broadcast engineers, software developers and digital product designers, in a creative and entrepreneurial way.

Here at the Global Academy, we have created a positive ‘can-do’ culture; whilst delivering a modern, engaging and creative environment. In which all staff (across all disciplines) are involved in working with our students. Therefore, if you are a passionate and exceptional individual, who would like to be a part of our friendly team – we welcome hearing from you!

Teachers foster supportive relationships with pupils. Pupils explained to inspectors how they appreciate the help they receive from teachers. This boosts pupils’ confidence and helps them to make progress.

Ofsted 2019

Global Academy is a unique school for students aged 14-19, specialising in the broadcast and digital media industry. Our aim is to deliver an environment in which students can experience and gain valuable skills, allowing them to can kick start their media careers; through learning in the classroom and studio training with industry professionals.

Founded by Ashley Tabour, the executive president at Global. We work in partnership with the University of Arts, London (UAL), offering our pupils the opportunity to work with actual brands and employers such as Universal and Adidas, in creating and delivering content through our vocational courses. So, students have a better opportunity to understand and learn the practical skills required for their interested fields.

In June 2019, our hard-work and commitment to teaching young people the practical skills required, to work in the creative media sector were recognised by Ofsted; as we were graded to be a ‘Good’ school.
