Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk
Contract type: Fixed term until 22 July 2025
Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 3, Point 5, £23,977 per annum
Location: Frays Academy Trust Central Office, Cowley, Uxbridge
Start date: ASAP

We are a flexible, supportive and dedicated team at Frays Academy Trust Central Office, looking for a Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk to join us. As a team we are committed to providing the best possible support to our seven primary schools and to each other.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase and sales ledger processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Develop and use Excel to run reports.
- Utilize SAGE 200, Sage for Education, or similar accounting systems.
- Competently use Office 365 for various tasks.
Key Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in a similar purchase and sales ledger role.
- Proficiency with SAGE 200, Sage for Education, or similar accounting systems.
- High competence in developing and using Excel for reporting.
- Competence with Office 365.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
