Learning Support Assistant,

Salary information: Scale 2, £7,642 - £7,752 per annum (depending on experience)
Work pattern: 11.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 INSET days (39 weeks)
Work hours: 8:30am - 3:15pm for 2 days
Contract type: Fixed term for 1 year
Start date: September 2025

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join us in September to work in a Reception class.

For this post, you will need to demonstrate:

  • At least 2 years practical experience of supporting children in a school setting is essential, ideally in Early Years level 2 LSA qualification although not essential would be desirable.
  • Awareness of policies relating to health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality and data protection.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A good understanding of child development and learning processes.
