At St. Bernadette Catholic Primary School, we ensure that our pupils are well taught by teachers who are hard-working and motivated to do their very best. (Ofsted 2018)
Therefore in return, we offer our incredible team of teachers and support staff: well-behaved, friendly and confident pupils who are keen to learn in our caring, happy school that offers a warm Catholic ethos.
We ensure that all of our staff are provided with excellent opportunities for on-going professional development and an experienced senior management team, who have a keen interest in mentoring and curriculum design. We are also run by a supportive Governing Body and our location serves good transport links to the school!
The Governors and Headteacher of St. Bernadette warmly welcomes those candidates who are sympathetic to the ethos of the Catholic school.

Caring, Honest, Respectful, Inspiring, Spiritual, Tolerant
St. Bernadette Catholic Primary School is a caring school in the very centre of the parish community of St. Bernadette. We have 456 children in our school ranging from children aged 3 in the Nursery through to children aged 11 in Year 6.
At St. Bernadette, we strive for excellence for all of our children in the fullest way – both in academic terms and in the development of our children as well-rounded, compassionate young people. We the adults share the belief that all of our children can succeed and feel successful, by supporting all of our children to help transform their lives. We strive to give our children roots to grow and wings to fly, here at St. Bernadette.
Our aims for our children are set out in the school's values. As a Catholic school, the Gospel values of Jesus Christ are the framework by which our school operates.
