Inclusion Learning Support Assistant

Salary information: Scale 3, £23,977 - £24,320 per annum (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday; 4 days, 8am - 5pm (90 minute unpaid lunch) and 1 day, 8am - 3pm (60 minute unpaid lunch)
Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Contract type: Temporary for 1 year

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs within a mainstream primary setting?

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Inclusion Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. The job involves working with individual children or groups of children, planning and delivering interventions and in-class work in a year group. In addition, you will be working in our breakfast and afterschool clubs. The position is for one year.

The position is for 36 hours per week working 4 days 8.00am – 5.00pm and one day 8.00am - 3.00pm. A job-share will be considered.

We wish to recruit a candidate who demonstrates a high level of commitment to supporting a child or groups of children with additional needs through ensuring that they have equal access to a fulfilling curriculum during their time at our school.
