Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Termt time + 5 training days (39 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday: 8:15 am - 4pm; Tuesday: 8:15 am - 4.30pm; Wednesday: 8:15am - 3.45pm; Fri: 8:15 am - 3.30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Salary information: Scale 6, £30,094 - £30,997 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: September 2025

Please note: Grange Park Junior School will be amalgamating with the adjoining Infant School in September 2025 to become a single primary school. This is an exciting development that will offer greater continuity for our children and enhanced opportunities for staff collaboration across all primary phases.
The successful candidate will teach classes, covering teachers' planned and short term absences. In addition your role will include supporting class teachers; supporting individuals and groups of children and supporting with the assessment of children.
To assist us in our journey, we are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum and the age-related expectations of children KS1 & KS2.
- High expectations of themselves and the children with whom they work.
- Dedication, energy and a commitment to working hard.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work as part of a team.
