Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 29 hours per week, Term time only + 5 Training days a year (39 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 6, £24,242 - £24,969 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: September 2025
We are seeking an exceptional HLTA to join our dedicated team at Minet Junior School. As a large, four-form entry junior school, we serve a diverse community in Hayes and aim to ensure all children grow in confidence and build strong relationships, encompassed in respect and empathy. As our recent Ofsted report highlights, "Pupils flourish at Minet Junior School," and we are committed to continuing to provide an outstanding education for all our students.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, organised and well-motivated person who will be supporting pupils across the school. The HLTA will have high expectations of all children and work well as part of a team. Our students are a joy to teach, and as Ofsted noted, "Behaviour is exemplary," creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
The HLTA would additionally provide support for our Teaching staff and TAs, as well as helping to plan and monitor the personalised intervention they provide.
