Executive Officer
Salary information: NJC Grade 8, £38,602 - £41,337 per annum (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (including breaks)
Work pattern: 40 hours per week, Term time only + staff training days + 120 hours additional working (42 weeks)
Start date: ASAP
Pield Heath House School is a non-maintained day/residential school for children and young people aged 7 - 19
with a range of additional severe and complex learning needs, speech
and language and communication disorders and sensory processing
difficulties.
We are seeking a highly organised, efficient and proactive Executive Officer to support the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for HR and Data Compliance and provide high level, comprehensive administrative support.
The role of the Executive Officer offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative, operational and HR support contributing to the efficient daily operations of the school. You will be part of a team which informs the strategic development of the administrative functions of the school.
The key responsibilities are:
- To provide confidential, high-level and timely administrative support to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team in all aspects of their roles.
- Provide HR support including the management of recruitment processes, induction and ensuring compliance with the schools policies and procedures ensuring a smooth on-boarding experience.
- To provide a full clerking service and administrative support to the schools Governing Body.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and evaluation of the administrative functions of the school.
- Report preparation, presentations, and other documents using various software programs for a range of stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and policy development.
