The commitment and enthusiasm of Pield Heath House staff are strengths of the school, and their passion for the students to enjoy and achieve are evident to visitors. They ensure that our young people feel secure and are comfortable in their school environment. Therefore, our committed and highly skilled team of staff are the school's most important asset.

At Pield Heath, we ensure that our staff participate in on-going CPD training and we regularly invite external organisations to lead additional training sessions. As part of the West London Teaching Schools Alliance we are approved to offer the Schools’ Direct Training Programme (salaried) which trains graduates to become Primary teachers whilst working in the school, alongside St Mary's University.

Pield Heath is a demanding, yet a rewarding environment. Visits to our school are warmly welcomed; to book your appointment or for more information about working for us, please contact us here.

Staff and the children are part of a community where equality and diversity are a natural part of the culture.

Pield Heath House is a non-maintained school for children and young people with special educational needs, recognised by the DfE under the Trusteeship of The Sisters of The Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Since its foundation in 1901, Pield Heath House School has helped young people with learning difficulties to develop their full potential.

We offer day, residential and short-break provision for children and young people with moderate to severe complex learning needs and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders. We provide a holistic approach to education, within a caring, spiritual environment where every young person is of equal importance, valued for what they are and encouraged to reach their maximum potential.

Our highly skilled and deeply committed staff are passionate in their work with our young people to encourage their progress, celebrate their achievements and inspire confidence in their futures, in close partnership with parents and carers. Our purpose is to maximise our students life experience to enable their independence and inclusion in the wider community.
