BWI Church of England Primary School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Assistant to join our team. We seek to provide a nurturing, inclusive, and enriching environment for our youngest learners. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the lives of children at the very start of their educational journey, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
If you do not currently have an EYFS qualification, we are able to offer training through an apprenticeship scheme.
We are looking for a nurturing, patient, and dedicated individual with a genuine passion for working with young children. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment where 2 and 3 year-olds feel safe and supported. They should be enthusiastic about early childhood education, with a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. As a team player, they will work collaboratively with other staff, parents, and carers to provide the best possible start for each child. Adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children are essential qualities for this role.
We would welcome you to visit or phone the school.
Please ask to speak with Mrs Birch on 01895 633 520 or email rgoffice@bwi.o.uk.
Closing date: 17th July 2025 at 9.00am
