Bishop Winnington-Ingram is a popular and inclusive Church of England Primary School with happy, motivated children and supportive, dedicated staff and governors. We are located close to major transport links (M25/M40) in a quiet, leafy corner of Ruislip and a short walk from the High Street, bus stops and local train stations serving the Underground Lines!

Our long term vision for our staff is to identify their future needs and invest in, support and develop experienced, creative, inspirational, committed individuals. As well as continue to invest in training for all our staff and adopt new, exciting initiatives (such as ‘Thinking School’ and ‘Forest School’), challenge staff and delegate responsibilities to grow leaders.

Visits to the school are most welcome and encouraged. For an informal chat about working at our school, please contact the school office here!

Leaders, including middle leaders, ensure that the checks on the performance of teachers and the progress their pupils make are closely linked to their salary progression. Governors are appropriately involved in decisions to reward good or better teaching.

Belief in God, Our Children and Their Future

Bishop Winnington-Ingram is a primary Church of England school, located in Ruislip, Hillingdon. The school has a morning Nursery with up to 30 children and two classes of up to 30 pupils in each year group.

Our aim at Bishop Winning-Ingram is to be a Christian community where everyone can develop an understanding and tolerance of others. We have a highly dedicated staff and very hard-working children and this enables us to achieve good results. The school firmly believes in educating the whole child, who gains independence and skills for the next school and for life.

We are a caring and nurturing community, helping children to have respect for each other, to have pride in their environment and to be happy. ‘My child loves coming to school here’, ‘a close knit family with great staff and happy pupils’ and ‘it’s a community where children are loved’, were just some of the many phrases used by parents to describe the school.
