We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clerk to Governors to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our school's transformation from Good to Outstanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
  • Coordinate and schedule Governing Body meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Governing Body and its committees.
Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Governing Body.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including governors, staff, and parents.
  • Draft correspondence and reports as required.
Procedural Guidance:
  • Advise the Governing Body on governance procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • A keen interest in education and a commitment to school improvement.
