Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: A minimum of 200 hours per annum, Term time only (38 weeks)
Salary information: SO1, £4,617 - £4,740 per annum (dependent on experience)
Further salary information: The salary may be negotiable for the right candidate.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clerk to Governors to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our school's transformation from Good to Outstanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Coordinate and schedule Governing Body meetings.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the Governing Body and its committees.
Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Governing Body.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including governors, staff, and parents.
- Draft correspondence and reports as required.
Procedural Guidance:- Advise the Governing Body on governance procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- A keen interest in education and a commitment to school improvement.
