Caretaker
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Work pattern: 40 hours per week, All year around (52 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, Alternate shifts: 7.00 am - 3.00 pm or 11.00 am - 7.00 pm
Salary information: Scale 5, Points 8 - 12; £33,070 - £35,026 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start date: ASAP
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Caretaker to join our highly professional caretaking team. We are looking for a proactive team member with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be a practical, adaptable, energetic and diligent team player who will support with delivering excellent service to all stakeholders.
You will be:
- A maintenance person with a proven track record of skills and experience associated with premises management.
- Able to demonstrate sound understanding of Health & Safety regulations including manual handling, COSHH, Legionella etc.
- Comfortable using industrial, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Keen and willing to develop your role within the school to ensure that all areas are provided with maintenance support.
- Experienced in working in a school environment although this is not essential, may be useful.
