Attendance and Admissions Officer  

Contract type: Permanent
Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex 
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
Salary information: Scale 5, £27,781 per annum 
Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Term time + 5 INSET days + 10 additional days (41 weeks)

Start date: ASAP 

John Locke Academy is an outstanding school looking for a proactive, hardworking, and experienced Attendance and Admissions Officer to join our team in a busy school office. We are a positive, creative, and forward-thinking team of professionals. The academy is part of The Elliot Foundation Trust, a successful multi-academy trust specialising in primary education. 

We are looking for someone who : 
  • Will act as the lead professional and be responsible for monitoring pupil attendance using school and government policies.
  • Promote the importance of good attendance and punctuality.
  • Liaise with the LA regarding attendance matters.
  • Lead the organisation on annual and in year admissions.
  • Manage secondary school transitions.
  • Manage pupil waiting lists,
  • Arrange open days for prospective pupils,
