At John Locke, our curriculum has been crafted with our pupils in mind, challenging them to approach tasks with an open mind and resilience. Ensuring they gain a variety of life skills as well as academic excellence. Our teachers use a collaborative approach, where they engage pupils through team work and self-assessments, providing them to opportunities to develop their independence.

The staff team at John Locke take on the challenges of working in a school head on. As they are ambitious for the children they teach, supportive of each other and invested in the school community. Therefore, we are always keen to hear from supportive and passionate individuals, who wish to be a part of our Academy.

Ofsted 2017

Opening Minds to Success, Opening Hearts to Succeed

John Locke Academy is an 'Outstanding' (Ofsted 2017) fully inclusive academy. That serve's the local community, by providing children with an exciting, purposeful and happy environment; as we aim to make learning irresistible.

We are a three form entry school, that opened in 2014 on the old Uxbridge RAF grounds. Where we believe that education is key to children having control and choice in their lives. As we open their minds to the wider world, whilst developing their values in an engaging environment - equipping them for life in Modern Britain.

At our school, we believe that the relationship between us and our pupil's parents is vital in ensuring that our learners meet their full potential. Therefore, we were very pleased to hear in the 2017 Ofsted inspection, that 'parents, pupils and staff are extremely proud of the school'.

If you'd like to learn more about us, then please visit the school website.
