After School Club Playworker
Salary information: Scale 2, £8,203 - £8,327 per annum (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 5:45pm (hours and days can be negotiable)
Working pattern: 13 hours and 45 minutes per week, Term time only (37 weeks)
Start date: September 2024
Contract type: Permanent
We currently have exciting opportunities at Coteford Infant School. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and caring playworker who has:
- A positive, warm, enthusiastic, kind and energetic attitude.
- The ability to work and play creatively with the children.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to use judgement and common sense.
- The ability to liaise with parents and carers with sensitivity and tact.
Principal Duties:
- To provide high standards of care in a safe and secure setting.
- Assist in planning, preparing and providing creative and fun play opportunities for children aged 4 to 7.
- Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children including those with additional needs.
- Carry out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework.
- Work within agreed policies and procedures.
