Coteford Infant is a mainstream school for children aged 5 to 7, based in the residential area of Pinner; where we benefit from close rail links and bus routes such as the Metropolitan Line from Eastcote station. Our school has a good support network and extra funding, which all our teachers have access to; we are also able to generally place at least one support assistant in each classroom.

At Coteford Infant, staff training is carefully planned and delivered, so everyone has been given the opportunity to develop their individual needs, as well as the school needs. We have a policy that ensures all staff have access to courses after school and are fair about training during the school day.

Our Governing Body and Parents are also very supportive of the work that goes on daily in school, and work collaboratively together, to achieve the very best.

If you are a positive and dedicated individual, then we would love to hear from you! For an informal discussion or to visit the school, then please contact us by clicking here.

Leaders and staff have high expectations of pupils. Everyone in this school aims to adhere to its motto: ‘We do our best to be our best!’ Pupils work hard in lessons. They are kind, polite and courteous.

Ofsted 2022

Everyone is special, every day is important and together we can do anything.

Coteford Infant School is a mainstream school, with the privilege of additional funds to integrate a small number of children with physical disabilities.

We have 3 classes in each year group and 70 children in our nursery. We believe that all children can achieve well, and we work closely with parents to set and achieve the high expectations for our children. There is an emphasis on active learning in the classrooms and making lessons fun; so, our children can become motivated and independent learners.

Our school environment is well maintained, safe, exciting and vibrant. The building has been extensively refurbished and most classrooms have access to a resource/activity area and all have an outside door. We also have a field and large playground, that include exciting features such as Spoon Island, Happy Hills and the Magical Theatre.
