Grange Park School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious Year Group Leader to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team from September 2026.

Following the successful amalgamation of our Nursery, Infant and Junior schools, Grange Park School is now a thriving 3-form entry all-through primary school, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a school community at a significant stage in its journey.

At Grange Park School, our vision is simple: Strive. Lead. Succeed.

We are proud of our exceptionally positive school culture, where pupils are impeccably behaved, eager to learn and demonstrate excellent attitudes both in and beyond the classroom.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and leader who can inspire others and help shape the future direction of our school.

For the right candidate, there could be the opportunity to lead English across the school.

We can offer:

  • A welcoming, friendly and highly supportive staff team.
  • Exceptionally well-behaved pupils who are enthusiastic, respectful and ready to learn.
  • A committed and ambitious Senior Leadership Team with a clear vision for excellence.
  • A strong focus on staff wellbeing, including regular social events, wellbeing initiatives and a positive staff culture (yes, including a staff room darts board!).
  • A warm community school feel where relationships matter and everyone is valued.
  • High-quality coaching, mentoring and career progression opportunities.
  • Opportunities to lead, innovate and drive curriculum development
  • Research-informed CPD tailored to support professional growth and leadership development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong knowledge of teaching and learning, ideally within KS2.
  • Be passionate about raising standards in reading and writing for all pupils.
  • Have the ability to motivate, inspire and support both children and colleagues.
  • Be accountable for standards of teaching, learning and outcomes across their year group.
  • Fully embrace and promote our school values: Strive. Lead. Succeed.

At Grange Park School, we believe in creating an environment where both children and staff flourish. We are looking for someone who shares our ambition and wants to be part of a school community where excellence, teamwork and wellbeing sit at the heart of all we do.
