Teaching Assistants
Contract type: Permanent (following successful completion of a three-month induction period)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm; 30 mins unpaid lunch break
Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 2 days (38.4 weeks)
Salary information: Grade 2, Point 8; £21,515 per annum
Start date: 13th April 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful school as a Teaching Assistant. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals to become part of our high-performing and dynamic team. The role will be based in a Key Stage 2.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children or for a graduate seeking experience before pursuing teacher training.
We are looking for someone who has:
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- A positive, enthusiastic approach.
- A commitment to working as part of a team.
- A good level of spoken and written English.
- A dedication to upholding and supporting our Pinner Wood Values.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the class to help children make progress.
- Assisting children with additional needs within the classroom.
- Working closely with the class teacher and year group team to secure the very best outcomes for all children – academically, socially, and beyond the curriculum.
- Leading group interventions.
- Covering a daily lunch duty.
