Salary information: MPR - UPR, £37,870 - £56,154 per annum + SEN1 allowance, £2,787

Rabbsfarm Primary School is a friendly and welcoming three-form-entry primary school, with a 45-place nursery, located in the heart of a vibrant and diverse community in Yiewsley, Hillingdon. We are an inclusive and caring school where children and staff flourish together, underpinned by strong values, high expectations and a clear commitment to equity and belonging.
We are seeking to appoint a committed and knowledgeable SENDCo to coordinate and further develop SEND provision across the school. You will be line managed by the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and work in close partnership with them, receiving regular guidance and support to strengthen inclusive practice across the school.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with staff, families and external professionals to ensure statutory duties are met and that pupils with SEND receive high-quality, well-coordinated support that enables them to make strong progress.
We are looking for a SENDCo who:
- Is an excellent practitioner with a strong commitment to inclusive education.
- Has experience supporting pupils with a range of additional and special educational needs.
- Holds, or is willing to complete, the National Award for SEND Coordination (NPQ SENDCo) within the statutory timeframe.
- Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive, professional relationships.
- Is confident in working with parents, carers and external agencies.
- Is highly organised, proactive and solution-focused.
- Is reflective, motivated and ambitious for pupils with SEND and for their own professional development.
