Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Salary information: MPR - UPR, £37,870 - £56,154 per annum (dependent upon experience) + SEN Allowance, £2,787 per annum

Rabbsfarm Primary School is a friendly and welcoming 3 form entry school with a 45 place nursery in the heart of a vibrant community in the Yiewsley area of Hillingdon. We are an inclusive and caring school where children and staff flourish together.
We are looking for the right person to join our Inclusion Team. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, organised, flexible and well-motivated qualified teacher whose primary responsibility will be supporting pupils with special educational needs within our total communication, nurturing class ‘Shooting Stars’.
The role will be varied and may include:
- Taking lead for continuing to develop our small total communication, nurturing class for 11 pupils with SEN plus 5 support staff.
- Leading small group interventions with a key focus on a specific area or areas of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Leading extended provision for a group of vulnerable pupils e.g. Young Carers.
- Establishing, managing and evaluating Inclusion Projects.

- Weekly support from our Assistant Psychologist.
- Weekly handover and advice session from the previous teacher for the first month.

- A dedicated support team; 1 HLTA and 4 LSAs.
Applicants must be excellent teachers of pupils with Special Educational Needs – an observation teaching within our morning Shooting Stars class will form part of the interview process.
