The Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with complex medical and learning needs. This support may be delivered within the whole class, in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCo to address the pupil’s individual needs, helping to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to achieve their full potential. The role will involve implementing a range of targeted intervention programmes to support the pupil’s diverse needs within our setting.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and listening skills who has the ability:

  • To use initiative and to follow instructions;
  • To form good relationships with the children;
  • To be able to ensure the health and safety of all pupils at all times and follow the process for reporting incidents;
