Salary Information: POA, Point 31, £44,685 per annum + Special Schools Allowance, £1,539 per annum

Hours of work: Monday: 8:00am - 3.30pm; Tuesday: 8:15am - 4:30pm, Wednesday: 8:15am - 4:00pm; Thursday, 8:15am - 4:30pm; Friday: 8:15am - 4:30pm

Applicant information: For all year round contracts (52 weeks per year), the postholder will be required to take annual leave during school closures only; October Half Term, Winter (Christmas) Break, February Half Term, Spring (Easter) Break, May Half Term, Summer Holidays.

Band 6 Occupational Therapist required to work within a multi-disciplinary team at Meadow High School, in Uxbridge.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience of working with children and adolescents with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working within an established Therapy Team, within an SEN secondary school recently OFSTED rated as Good. You will be working with students aged 11-19 years who have a wide variety of conditions including autistic spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, respiratory, neurological and neuromuscular pathologies.
The candidate will need to be able to work well as part of the Therapy Team and wider school team. This post provides many exciting opportunities including assessment, group work, one to one therapy and class-based interventions, working in collaboration with teaching staff, speech and language, physiotherapy and therapy assistants.
The Therapy Team is responsible for integrating clinical intervention across all aspects of the educational curriculum ensuring that pupils are able to readily access and engage in learning, all therapy staff are supported by the Therapy Team Lead.
