Kitchen Assistant

Contract type: Specific-purpose - to cover staff absence
Salary information: Scale 1, £6,590 per annum + SSA, £359 per annum
Work pattern: 10 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 2pm
Start date: ASAP  

We require a Kitchen Assistant to join our existing catering team.

Meadow High School is a large and inclusive secondary school catering to pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs, including complex needs and autism. We are looking for a highly motivated person to become a member of our dedicated catering team. The candidate must be flexible, open to new challenges and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Recent experience of working in a kitchen environment is preferred, however training will be given to the right applicant. Applicants must either hold a Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to attend the relevant training course to obtain one.
