Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion

Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Salary information: Leadership Scale 1 - 5, £55,881 - £61,245 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: ASAP

St Martin’s CE Primary School is seeking a dynamic and talented Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.  

We are seeking someone who can:

• Lead and enhance the quality of teaching and learning for SEND pupils.
• Work alongside experienced SENDCos, contributing to the strategic development of SEND provision.
• Support and develop staff to deliver high-quality adaptive teaching that meets the needs of all learners.
• Promote inclusive practice and ensure SEND pupils make strong progress from their starting points.
• Lead and enhance the provision for children with a diagnosis of ASC in our special resource provision.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies, families and professionals.
• Play a key role as part of the wider leadership team.
