Afterschool Club Leader
Contract type: Permanent
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Work pattern: 15 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 6, £12,610 - £12,989 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: April 2026

Would you like to take on the management of our new After School Club facility?
We are looking for a person who:
- Is organised and can use own initiative.
- Is a good team leader.
- Is self-motivated, creative and empathetic.
- Has a good sense of humour.
- Is committed and enthusiastic about supervising, caring for and supporting children in a safe, fun and stimulating environment after school.
- Is committed to the inclusion of all children and their families.
- Can work with children aged 5 to 11.
- Has good ICT skills and can promote the club effectively.
- Will support staff and work closely with other professionals to provide the best outcomes for all children
They will ideally:
- Have a Paediatric First Aid qualification or be prepared to obtain one.
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
- Have excellent Maths and English skills.
- Have relevant experience with primary age children.
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Be a committed professional with vision and drive.
- Be able to work as part of team.
- Support the Christian values of our school.
- Have an ability to communicate effectively.
