Access & Inclusion Manager (Interim)
Contract type: Temporary for up to 12 months
Slary information: POA, £36,465 per annum
Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Start date: ASAP
We are seeking an excellent candidate to be our interim Access & Inclusion Manager for a period of up to 12 months, covering the absence of the permanent postholder. The equivalent annual salary would be £36,465 (subject to any cost of living increases within the year).
The Interim AIC Manager plays a pivotal role within our Access & Inclusion Faculty, working closely with the Head of Access & Inclusion Faculty/SENDCo to ensure high-quality provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the Access & Inclusion Centre.
- Leading and delivering targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
- Supporting the development and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
- Line managing and developing HLTAs and Teaching Assistants.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents/carers and external agencies.
- Monitoring, evaluating and improving the impact of SEND provision.
- This is a hands-on role combining leadership, teaching, and strategic support for inclusion across the school.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has significant experience supporting students with SEND in a school setting.
- Holds HLTA status (or equivalent experience) and strong knowledge of SEND practice and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Has experience of leading or coordinating staff and interventions.
- Is highly organised, proactive and committed to inclusive education.
- Is supportive of, and sympathetic to, the ethos and values of a Church of England school.
