Putting our residents first.

The Hillingdon Music Hub is run as part of the music and theatres service of Hillingdon Council, which is part of the Green Spaces, Sport and Culture team within Residents' Services.

Our management is assisted by the Advisory Group, consisting of Councillors, schools and key partners. We are funded by Arts Council England as part of the Music Hubs scheme.

The Hub delivers Whole Class, group and individual tuition to children aged 5 to 18 across the second-largest London Borough; enhancing lives through music. We aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn a musical instrument (other than voice) and perform in ensembles from an early stage. In 2016, we launched our new programme of First Access (whole class ensemble tuition) to schools across Hillingdon. In three years this has grown to cover 22 primary schools and expanded into the provision of curriculum music services.

In addition, we offer Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to school staff, particularly in supporting schools to deliver music in the curriculum.
