At Pentland Field School, our creative and thematic curriculum has been designed to be adaptable for all of our learners, ensuring a fluid journey from Early years to Key Stage 4, as they become independent and successful learners.

To ensure our pupils success, we use a collaborative approach amongst our staff members and the school, to monitor and support their progress. We have found this approach to be the most successful and were also recognised and commended by Ofsted in our 2018 inspection stating: 'Teamwork is a real strength of the school. As teachers, support staff and therapists meet regularly to share their observations about how well pupils are achieving.

Therefore, if you are a committed and passionate individual, who can bring new experiences to enhance our pupils learning and participation. Then we'd love to hear from you!

To have an informal conversation or to visit our school, please contact the school office.

The Eden Academy Trust may, from time to time, require an employee to be relocated temporarily or permanently to one of its other schools. Any proposal to relocate will be carried out with due consultation and reasonable notice.

Both teachers and support staff feel very well supported. They network closely with their colleagues in school and across the trust.

Educate. Develop. Enrich. Nurture.

Pentland Field School, part of The Eden Academy Trust is an all-through school for pupils, aged 4-19 with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or a newly-introduced Education, Health and Care Plan.

We are a unique school, whose provision both in the classroom and through therapy, is closely matched to the needs of our different types of learners. Who have the potential to enhance their existing levels of attainment, social learning and language skills.

At our school, we aim to ensure that all of our pupils develop a real love for learning through a stretched and challenging curriculum, which enables and actively encourages our children to be independent learners, whilst making a real contribution to their community.
