As they promote a caring and stimulating environment, whilst supporting one another to achieve the best results for the school community.

We are proud to be awarded an 'Outstanding' (2014) and 'Fully Compliant' (2018) school, by our inspecting bodies - the Diocese of Northampton and Independent Schools Inspectorate. St Bernard's Preparatory is an independent Co-educational Catholic school for children aged 2-11 in Slough, Berkshire. Where our students are educated in a nurturing and spiritual community, in which each person is loved and valued.

As we strive for academic excellence, we place a strong emphasis on encouraging our pupils to be independent thinkers, and developing their intellectual, emotional and physical qualities. So they are equipped with the necessary tools, ready to tackle the next stages of their educational careers in a rapidly developing world.

At our school, we aim to follow by the example of our founding members - the Bernardine Sisters; in having prayer and worship at the centre of our lives. As we strive to be of service to others and uphold the Christian values of love, forgiveness and compassion that Jesus taught us.
