Langley Hall Arts Academy (LHAA) is a new, vibrant, stimulating, academic one form entry secondary school with a creative and performing arts focus, providing academic excellence alongside a strong artistic education. We combine this excellent traditional education with a creative arts education that is world class.

Langley Hall Arts Academy (LHAA) is a new, vibrant, stimulating, academic one form entry secondary school with a creative and performing arts focus, providing academic excellence alongside a strong artistic education. Our outstanding school is a place where both staff and pupils are passionate about their lifelong learning journey. The school opened in September 2022 and now has a Year 7 and a Year 8 class.

The school’s motto is ‘Elige Vitam Mirandam’ and we chose this motto very purposefully and considerately. Translated from the Latin it means ‘choose a remarkable life’ and it is our hope and dream, for every pupil who attends the school, that they will indeed choose a remarkable life and make the very best choices for their future, being in a position to make such judgements because of the rounded education they will have received at LHAA.

An Ofsted inspection in September 2023 resulted in a very pleasing judgement. Of the four categories, judgements of Outstanding were given in two and Good in two.
