Kew Riverside Primary School is a one form-entry school which forms part of the London Borough of Richmond's Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project in partnership with Semperian PLC.
Our classrooms have no doors! You can hide a wealth of good practice and opportunity behind a closed door. Good teachers put so much of themselves into their lessons, from the planning through to the execution; and what teacher doesn’t want to be seen at their best, overseeing happy, engaged and interested children, who are learning and making good progress?
We are also on first name terms at the school – from the headteacher to the site manager. The use of first names reduces the distance between staff and children without a loss of respect.
