The right to be the best that we can be

Hillside Infant school based in Northwood is a happy, caring, safe and secure environment for all our pupils. Where we support and nurture them for their educational careers.

We recognise each of of our children as individuals and work hard to cater to their needs, whilst working in a strong parent partnership. Since, we believe that in order for our pupils to become independent and curious learner, we need to work together as a collective ensuring their success in the next stages of their education.

Our school ethos centers around four key values:
Trying our Best Every Day;
Kindness and Honesty;
Working as a Hillside Team;
Using Good Manners.

As a result of the school ethos and parental commitment, our pupils were recognised in the 2018 Ofsted inspection stating:
"Pupils are very polite, courteous and well mannered. They treat each other, staff and visitors with much respect. Pupils’ behaviour in class and around the school is
excellent."
