‘Fulfil responsibilities with care and attention’

Hermitage primary is a community school with a happy, welcoming and stimulating enviroment.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to be 'interesting and appealing to our pupils' (Ofsted 2018). However, we are constantly evolving this, as we recognise our children to be individuals with specific needs and interests through the input of our wonderful staff.

At Hermitage, we expect all staff to promote the highest quality learning through the expectations they set and the way in which they undertake their responsibilities. As part of this ethos, we offer an ongoing personalised professional development, with a supportive and collaborative team ethos.

If you would like to be a part of the Hermitage family, then we'd love to hear from you!

To organise a visit to our wonderful school or to have an informal discussion, please contact our school office.

Together with senior leaders, the headteacher has created a caring and nurturing environment. Parents and carers are highly supportive of the inclusive community and talk positively about the ‘family feel’ created around the school.

Learning together, Building futures

Based in the heart of Uxbridge, Hermitage Primary School is a popular and expanding school offering a warm and family-feel atmosphere. Where everyone cares about each other and all our interactions are based on mutual respect.

We are very proud of our excellent standards of pupil behavior. As we nurture good behavior through modelling, rewarding and building strong relationships rooted in respect and empathy.

We aim to develop our pupils into well-rounded individuals, who will leave us ready for the next stage of their education. However, most importantly we work to develop 'character' through fostering characteristics such as resilience, perseverance and courage; with personal values such as honesty, kindness and loyalty.

At our school, we believe passionately that all children deserve the very best that we can offer and that a high-quality primary education will build better futures.
