Hedgewood School is a happy place. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. Pupils like the activities that the school provides for them. The curriculum is different depending on the class grouping. Pupils’ learning is very carefully planned to meet their needs.

Hedgewood School is a primary special school currently maintained by the London Borough of Hillingdon. Our school caters for primary age pupils most of whom have Autism. We currently have  188 pupils on roll and all of our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

We are a happy, hardworking, supportive and committed multi-disciplinary team which includes TAs, Family Support Workers, SLT SALT and OT. Together, we provide a safe and stimulating learning context in which each child is valued and their achievements celebrated. 

 We aim to provide opportunities and support so that our pupils develop a good work ethic, inner confidence together with interpersonal and social skills. As a staff team we provide the opportunities to build a successful and happy life.
