Here at Harmondsworth Primary, we are a "village" school, unique in the London Borough of Hillingdon, maintaining strong local contacts and ties with the village. Keeping to tradition that can be found in our School Log book from over 100 years ago.

Our curriculum has been designed in line with the National curriculum requirements, ensuring continuity and progression throughout the school. The teaching methods have also been described as 'often inspirational in the very effective way that it promotes aspects of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.' in our Ofsted 2012 report.

At our school, we ensure to work in partnership with our Children, Staff, Parents and Governors with the children as its focus, achieving the very best. Therefore, we look for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals, who are committed to teamwork and have a desire to learn.

For an informal conversation or to visit our school, please contact our school office.

‘Pupils enjoy coming to this school to learn, and to be with their friends. They are happy and safe here. They show genuine interest in what they are learning and work very well with each other. There is a palpable buzz of learning across the school. A well-planned and sequenced curriculum supports pupils to produce work of good quality in different subjects.’ Ofsted June 2022

Leaders aim to develop pupils into young leaders. They gain experience of democracy, for example, when they vote for their school council representatives. Pupils in the school council are proud of their achievements, such as helping to organise new equipment for the playground in early years.
