Guru Nanak Sikh Academy - Secondary Phase and Sixth-form is a proud school, where we seek to provide an excellent educational environment for all pupils. We aim to produce hard-working and respectful individuals, ready to take on the next stages of their academic and personal journeys.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, providing them with a high-quality education and relevant qualifications with flexible and transferable skills. That can be adapted to the environment they chose to succeed in, may it be further education or employment.

At our Academy, we promote the values of the Sikh community: serving others, humility, achievement, respect and equality. We are a school which has perfected the balance between our British heritage and the Sikh ethos. As a result, we welcome staff from a range of backgrounds and faiths to join our vibrant and inclusive environment.

For an informal conversation or to visit our school, please contact us on: 0208 573 6085 or email: admin@gnsa.co.uk.

Students refer to the academy as a community and as being part of a large family. They value the work of their teachers and really appreciate the friendly, respectful relationships they have with all adults.

Ofsted 2014

As part of the Guru Nanak Multi Academy trust. We at Guru Nanak Secondary Academy are a six form entry school, where we believe education is at the heart of everything we do.

Our vision is very simple in that we want:

To build a strong community based on the Sikh religion.
To provide quality education that is broad, balanced and relevant to the needs of pupils within a modern society.
To enable all pupils to achieve their potential through the highest standards of teaching and learning.
To develop each pupil’s self-esteem, confidence and independence with consideration for others and the concept of Sewa.
To strengthen bonds between home, community and school, providing a preparation for each pupil’s entry into the wider community.
To be committed to encouraging every member of our community to invest in life-long learning and personal development.

At our school, we also believe in the value of teamwork and work hard with our parents and carers to ensure our children achieve good results. Our aim is to provide an excellent education for young people and instil a lifelong love of learning. We do this with humility and in the name of our founder Baba Amar Singh Ji.
