Our mission is to strive to ensure that carers are: recognised and valued for the care and support that they provide; acknowledged as expert partners in care, and; respected as an integral and critical part of the health and social care workforce in Hillingdon.
We want our support to be tailored to meet individual needs, enabling carers of whatever age or background to maintain a balance between their caring responsibilities and a life outside caring. In addition, we aim to grow our range of services and extend their ‘reach’ geographically within the borough; improving and strengthening our partnership-working and increasing our range of collaborative projects to help to make carers everybody’s business.

Hillingdon Carers is a local charity based in Uxbridge that operates support services for unpaid carers living or caring in the London Borough of Hillingdon. We work to improve support and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems.
We support carers from as young as five years old and have a great range of support for children and young people who are caring in their formative years, as well as over 80 free services for adult carers. We are the lead organisation for the Hillingdon Carers Partnership, which means that we work closely with other charities that provide specialist support for carers.
