Teaching Assistant
Work pattern: Monday - Friday, 32.75 hours per week, Term Time Only + 1 day for Safeguarding Training (38.2 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 3, £20,506 - £20,816 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract type: Fixed Term, Until 31st August 2025
Start date: 4th September 2024
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with an interest and/or experience of working with young people with special educational needs. A commitment to working alongside teaching staff to raise the learning and attainment of students is key. Qualifications or experience of specific types of SEND is desirable but not essential.
Your role will be to promote students’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. Teaching Assistants provide support to students so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
