Teaching Assistant (Support and Interventions)
Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week (which will require flexibility at certain times of the year), Term time only (39 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 4, £21,697 - £22,697 per annum (dependent upon experience) + Special Schools Allowance £1,133

Meadow High School is a special school which provides education for secondary aged students aged 11-19 years with moderate and complex needs including autism. The school is currently graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED.
The successful candidate will support the inclusion of pupils across the school - specifically pupils who are Looked After Children and those who have complex needs relating to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), attachment disorders and trauma. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to support children with a range of complex needs effectively. The post holder will be part of the Inclusion Team and will work closely with teachers across the school to enable pupils to access the curriculum and develop personal resilience and other essential life skills.

Applicants should:
- Hold an NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants.
