Teaching Assistant (KS1)
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Northwood, Middlesex
Salary information: Scale 3, £20,515 - £20,824 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch
Start date: September 2024
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic teaching assistant to join our friendly and caring team at Hillside Infant School. We are wishing to appoint someone who is committed to providing outstanding education and care for our children in order for our pupils to be ‘the best they can be’.
The successful candidate will:
- Have level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent;
- Have experience in working in a school environment;
- Understand how to support children whilst developing their independence;
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire children through their learning journey;
- Have high expectations of all children;
- Work well as part of a team;
- Have good Maths and English skills;
- Excellent time management and organisation skills;
- Have a sense of humour;
- Be keen to develop skills and experience and share these with other staff.
