Pield Heath House School is a non-maintained day/residential school for children and young people aged 7-19 with a range of additional needs and speech and language disorders.

Special Support Assistants – Level 2
£18,887 p.a. - £19,230 p.a. actual, 37.5 hours per week
Term Time Only + 5 Staff Training Days

We have a fantastic opportunity for Level 2 Special Support Assistants who will support teaching to deliver excellence every day in order to help our students achieve their milestones. You will have had experience of supporting students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. We are looking for people who want to make a difference and be part of an inspiring and creative team whilst assisting students with their educational and social development.

Successful applicants will have:
  • Experience of supporting students within an educational setting.
  • A caring approach to working with children and young people.
  • Ability and willingness to support students with a range of needs.
  • Creativity and flexibility within the learning environment.
  • Confidence to share skills and ideas with others in the team.
  • Good communication skills with a positive outlook.
