Work hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 6:00pm (30 minutes unpaid break)
Work Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, All year round (52 weeks)
Salary information: Scale 4, £18,341 - £19,143 per annum (depending on experience)
Start date: As soon as possible

Cherry Lane Primary School is seeking a proactive and skilled Site Assistant to support the Site Manager in the day-to-day maintenance and management of our school premises. This vital role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and efficient operation of the school site, including all buildings and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building maintenance, service, and repairs.
  • Health & safety.
  • Maintenance of grounds and external areas.
  • Facilities.
  • Administration and collaboration within the team.
  • Emergency response coordination.
  • Security and access control.
  • Cleaning staffs and contractors.
  • Porterage and logistics.
  • Support school lettings.
  • Safeguarding responsibilities.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team that values hard work and respect for others.
