Senior Science Technician
Salary information: Scale 6, £29,956 - £30,855 per annum (depending on experience)
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 3:45pm (including unpaid break)
Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only + 5 days (39 weeks)
Start date: September 2025
Are you an experienced science technician ready to take the lead?
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and maintain science equipment for lessons.
- Ensure health & safety standards are met.
- Manage stock and order supplies.
- Support and guide other technicians.
- Support the work and profile of the Faculty.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience working in a science setting - ideally as a science technician in a school.
- Strong practical science and health & safety knowledge.
- Organised, proactive, and a great team player.
- Relevant science qualifications (GCSEs in English, Maths & Science with higher qualification in science preferred).
