Work pattern: 7.5 hours a week, Term time only (38 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 1.5 hours a day with flexibility between the hours of 11.30am and 2pm
Salary information: Scale 2, £4,998 per annum
Start date: As soon as possible
We are eager to recruit a school meal supervisory assistant (SMSA) to join our busy lunch-time team.
Our SMSAs are integral to ensuring the smooth running of our lunchtimes, contributing to the provision of a safe, positive and active lunch-time experience for our pupils. The role includes helping to set up the hall before lunch, and supervising and supporting pupils both in the dining hall and after lunch in the playground.
We are looking for an individual who enjoy spending time with children and take pride in guiding them whilst they play and socialise. The ideal candidate will have; the ability to stay calm and be patient; good communication skills; a cheerful disposition; and a commitment to safeguarding the welfare of our pupils.
