School Business Manager

Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: 36 hours per week (TBA with Headteacher), Full time (all year around)
Salary information: Scale POA, £39,951 - £44,019 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and highly motivated School Business Manager. The new SBM will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Working closely with the headteacher, senior leaders and governors, you will take responsibility for overseeing the administration, financial management, health & safety, premises and human resources of the school.  

It would be advantageous if you have:
  • A certificate, or diploma, in School Business Management or be prepared to complete accreditation; or a good degree.
  • Leadership and management experience of areas including finance and health and safety.
  • Experience of premises and facilities management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present both written, and verbal information for the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors.
  • A genuine desire to involve yourself fully in the life of our school and to work as part of our forward-thinking team of professionals.
