SRP Teacher and Manager

Contract type:
Full time, Permanent
Salary information: MPS/UPS + SEND Allowance (Outer London)
Start date: April/May 2026

Bishop Ramsey School is a thriving and inclusive Church of England secondary school. Guided by our Christian vision that every individual carries dignity and worth, we are committed to ensuring that all students flourish and enjoy life in all its fullness.

From September 2026, we are excited to open a new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for students with a primary need of ASC, and we are seeking an outstanding SRP Teacher & Manager to lead this provision and shape its development from the outset.

The Role
This is a key leadership role within our Access & Inclusion Faculty, working closely with the SENDCo to:

  • Lead and manage the Specialist Resource Provision, ensuring the effective use of time, staffing and resources.
  • Design, plan and deliver a high-quality, personalised curriculum for students within the SRP.
  • Line manage the HLTA team and oversee specialist ASC interventions.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on student progress, using data to drive improvement.
  • Support inclusive practice across the whole school, working collaboratively with mainstream staff.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, local authorities and external professionals.
  • Contribute to CPD and whole-school development in inclusive practice.

Students in the SRP will be fully integrated into the school community, spending approximately 80% of their time in mainstream lessons with appropriate support, and 20% in the SRP receiving targeted small-group teaching and therapeutic interventions.

About You
We are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or equivalent.
  • Has experience teaching students with ASC and delivering inclusive, adaptive practice.
  • Brings strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Is confident using data to track progress and inform provision.
  • Can motivate, support and lead others as part of a collaborative team.
  • Has a clear commitment to safeguarding and to the values and ethos of a Church of England school.
  • Experience of leading interventions and working across multiple key stages is desirable.

Please return your completed Application Form and Equality Monitoring Form to recruitment@bishopramsey.school.

Closing date: Monday 23 February at 10am

Interview Date: Week commencing 2nd March
